Since we moved up here I've been dying to ride up to Phoenix, the abandoned mine marked "ghost town" on my trail map. We finally got to go. It was a great ride - very challenging though; seven miles with a 1000 ft summit climb in the middle. Great views at the top! The mine was a little disappointing, but we may go back and investigate later. We took a different route home - pretty much straight down! I had a hard time keeping my bike from sliding. |
