Last Hike to Fairy Fort

The Garden of Good and Evil

This looks like Queen Anne's Lace, but I
know it's not. If you know what it is please
comment. It was growing in a canyon near
a creek in Park City, UT.
This evil plant is stinging nettle. If you brush against it,
tiny poisonous hairs pierce your skin and the pain will make
you want to run around screaming like a madman.
Supposedly, if you know how to handel it, it can be eaten
and used as a hair rinse.
I don't know what this one is either.

Castle Geyser in all its Glory

While looking for reference photos for my book illustrations,
I rediscovered this photo I took of Castle Geyser while I was working
in Yellowstone in 2007. I love it!
